In spring 2026, four climate practitioners got tired of climate content that only covered what had already worked and decided to build something different. Uncooked started as a podcast, grew into a sourcing letter, and is becoming a network: an ecosystem centered on students and early-career practitioners who need the kind of honest, research-grounded climate content that doesn't exist yet. We're building it as we go.
Becca lives to funnel big money towards hard climate problems. She's spent the last few years building climate risk models for the World Bank and a climate tech startup, believing that quantifying the negative financial impact of climate change can push companies to make better decisions for the planet.
She also runs a sustainable fashion brand focused on upcycling ethnic minority textiles in rural China, and hopes to start a living-wage cooperative in that region. She holds a B.S. in Economics and Data Science from UC Berkeley and is pursuing her MBA at Berkeley Haas.
Anthony is passionate about solving the climate crisis with innovation and better financing, drawing interest at the intersection of clean energy and sustainable finance. He's previously worked in private equity on portfolio company value creation and diligence within B2B SaaS, and most recently in a product role at an early-stage workforce education startup helping underrepresented, frontline employees build meaningful careers.
He holds a B.A. in Sustainable Environmental Design from UC Berkeley and is pursuing a Master of Science in Sustainability Management at Columbia University's Climate School.
Gaby brings a cross-disciplinary lens to Uncooked, working at the intersection of climate science, community, and implementation. Her background spans both the research and practitioner sides of the climate space — exactly the gap Uncooked is built to bridge.
She is a core part of the founding team shaping Uncooked's network strategy, content direction, and community building across Berkeley and Columbia. She believes the most important climate work happens in rooms most people don't have access to — and that access is the point.
Grant operates at the intersection of finance, technology, and climate. With a background in investment analysis and strategic thinking, he brings the capital markets perspective to Uncooked — helping translate complex climate science into language that moves money and unlocks investment in the hardest problems.
He leads Uncooked's growth strategy, investor relationships, and the sourcing letter's coverage of the university climate tech ecosystem — tracking which labs, founders, and sectors are worth watching before they're on anyone's radar.
